Welcome to St James
If you have been allocated a place at St James Church School, you will have received a letter from us welcoming you to the school community. There is also a Microsoft forms link that has been emailed for you to complete and set up our communication platform.
We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming transition events held to support all children to settle into school positively.
Admissions
The deadline for applications to start school was the 15th January 2025. There is an option to make a late application and further information can be found by clicking the following link to the Somerset website.

Welcome
We at St James Church School, would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school community. This is the start of an exciting seven-year journey for your child with us. It is essential that we establish a good relationship with you and your child so that they start school happy and confident. At St James Church School, we value our parent partnership links and we are really looking forward to meeting you.
We recognise the importance for all children to have a happy and settled transition into school and to support this we have a clear transition plan supporting all children and parents to start their journey at St James positively.
