Carbon Action Plan

Our overview of what we will achieve by July 2026:

Empower children (Eco Warriors/Advocates and Young Leaders) to lead this plan. Their action plan is also below.
Make a contribution to the local community through the Young Leadership Award and/or Eco Warrior group.
Reduce the electricity we use year on year. This will done through an eco campaign and increasing LED lights in the school.
Audit and reduce the amount of plastics that we use.
Audit the waste from our production kitchen ensuring we use eco friendly products and reduce food waste. • Ensure we use environmentally cleaning products.
Find out how people get to school and encourage more sustainable ways to get to school.
Reduce traffic on site.
Use less water through making better use of rainwater for gardening.
Create a wild space in the Year 2 area.
Work with Forest School staff to increase the biodiversity in the Forest School area.
