Red Cross Activity Day
On Thursday 8th November the whole school learnt about the British Red Cross and what this charity does for people right across the world. We also learnt about the incredible history of our school being used as a Red Cross hospital during the First World War from 1916-1919. The Priory hospital had 1121 patients and 127 beds. The children did some art work, created poems and wrote letters to and from the soldiers and nurses who worked here.
