At the end of January HMI came back to do their second review visit to establish the progress we have made since September. After being delayed by snow we were pleased to welcome Steffi Penny who spent two days with us - observing lessons, looking at childrens work and talking to staff, parents and children. We are pleased to say that on this visit she was very happy with the progress we are making out of special measures and unlike last time (9 days after I started) on this visit she moved us from inadequate progress out of special measures to reasonable progress out of special measures.
We are really pleased that the hard work being undertaken by staff, children and parents is being recognised and we know that it will not be long before we are completely out of this category.
Thank you for all the support you give us. The monitoing letter can be found on our key information page.
