English 9.30-10.30 |
Introduction |
WALT: evaluate our model castle. |
Independent activities |
We are so impressed with the castles you have made both in and out of school. What a pleasure to see your work develop as you created them. This lesson, we are focussing on what you have learnt. This wasn’t just about making a castle – you have learnt so much in the process (hopefully!). Let’s reflect: there was the PowerPoint you made on the structure of a castle and the names of all the different parts of a castle. Then we learnt some design and technology skills and discovered how to attach cardboard to a base, how to make a cardboard structure stronger and how to make it more stable. Finally, you chose the type of castle you wanted to make and now know the names of different types of castle. Please complete an evaluation of your castle. It is saved below, but if you would like a word copy so you can complete it on your Chromebook, please email us and we will send one through. |
