Home Learning 18th-22nd January

Please see below for a daily timetable supporting you and your child to continue to access the curriculum at home. Please refer to the blended learning homepage for the principles and advice guiding our home learning offer. We endeavour to provide links that are accessible via  a mobile phone and the learning can then be recorded on paper if appropriate. This can be shared via Class Dojo to enable your child's class teacher to provide feedback and guide you and your child on the next steps in their learning.

There will be supplementary videos posted by class teachers on Class Dojo and remember to tune in for your stories. :)

WALT: improve our mastery of painting and using a range of materials.

Today, we are going to create our own calendars using the calendar tabs that were put in with your Chromebooks, or kindly collected by your parents.

In school, we are going to create the space calendars using black sugar paper and flicking paint with a toothbrush, before making our own planets to add on.  These could be made using paint, colouring pens, crayons or pencils or shaving foam paint.  See the link below for an explanation:

Shaving Foam Painting for Kids - Bing video

On the resource sheet below, are some other ideas around trees, including drawing, painting and collage.  Feel free to represent a tree through the four seasons if you would prefer.

Don’t forget to upload your finished calendars to Dojo!
