Creative activities to try

Please access these links to try some fun activities.

As a parent / carer please ensure you have checked out the link/activity before you give your child access to it to make sure you are happy that they try the activity - you don't want to suddenly find all your tissues are used up making a volcano and your kitchen in chaos!!!!.

Make a rainbow

Have you made a rainbow for your window yet? Miss Allen's son made one for their window and their neighbour asked if they could make one for him because it made everyone in the village smile when they walked past it!  Read about them on newsround:

Weather Wheels

Why not map the weather each day - it is due to change during the next fortnight so these activities could be a nice start to the day.

Get creative and make a weather wheel -  https://www.education.com/worksheet/article/weather-wheel/

If you fancy combining your creativity with a little science to make Mrs Dickinson super happy, make a rain gauge - http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/projects/raingauge.html

If you fancy being a mathematician and making Mrs Carrington smile, make a chart to write down the different weather each day (using your weather wheel to help) and at the end of the week you could make a bar graph to compare the weather each day.
