Working Within Our Local Community

Children benefit greatly from being part of their community, local and extended. As a school we aim to develop the children outside the classroom and using opportunities in our area is a key priority.

Take a look at these gallery pages to find out how we are making links with the wider community.

On the 22nd February 2018 it was World Thinking Day. It is an important day when everyone in guiding and scouting across the world explores and celebrates how they're all part of a bigger movement. This year, the theme was 'Impact' - a celebration of how guiding and scouting has changed lives, communities and beyond. Whether it’s meeting members all over the world, or celebrating the impact that units have in their local communities, it’s a fantastic time to reflect & celebrate being a member of such a magnificent World Association. Take a look at some of the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts that wore their uniform to school last week to celebrate.
